I thought about this purchase for a while, partially due to the price, and ended up spending a lot of time looking at other brands for comparison. I was looking for a bag that would feel professional enough to bring to work every day, that wasn't a backpack, but that would hold (among other things) a 14-inch Macbook Pro on my daily commute, which involved public transit and walking. After a couple of weeks, I'm confident that this bag really is great for that use! I bring my laptop, a raincoat or umbrella, a notebook, a book, and a handful of small stuff (phone, wallet, chargers, headphones, etc.) with me every day. It's not too heavy with all that in it, and I haven't had any trouble with the handles slipping off my shoulder. The profile feels and looks a lot more professional than a backpack too. This is maybe not something I'll use every single day (depending on whether I'm bringing lunch in, for example), but it's absolutely what I'll bring on job interviews, work trips, and half-days at the office. It feels well-made, of course, and I think it'll last me a really long time.
