I thought about this purchase for a while, partially due to the price, and ended up spending a lot of time looking at other brands for comparison. I was looking for a bag that would feel professional enough to bring to work every day, that wasn't a backpack, but that would hold (among other things) a 14-inch Macbook Pro on my daily commute, which involved public transit and walking. After a couple of weeks, I'm confident that this bag really is great for that use! I bring my laptop, a raincoat or umbrella, a notebook, a book, and a handful of small stuff (phone, wallet, chargers, headphones, etc.) with me every day. It's not too heavy with all that in it, and I haven't had any trouble with the handles slipping off my shoulder. The profile feels and looks a lot more professional than a backpack too. This is maybe not something I'll use every single day (depending on whether I'm bringing lunch in, for example), but it's absolutely what I'll bring on job interviews, work trips, and half-days at the office. It feels well-made, of course, and I think it'll last me a really long time.

This bag has worked out to be perfect for me (and my rather odd combo use)! I am using it as a combo sketch bag/juggling bag and purse. The main compartment is all art stuff and juggling balls, and the zippered front pocket is purse stuff. It is so handy to have the categories separated in this way, and it makes it much easier to access things without it being chaos! The pocket in the main compartment that is supposed to be for a computer is *perfect* for the several types of colored pencils that I like to carry--I have each type in it's own ziplock bag, and then I just lined the ziplock bags up in that computer pocket. It's a brilliant solution for them, because now I can just easily reach in and get whatever ziplock of pencils I need without having to unstack things from on top of it, which is what I had to do in a previous Tom Bihn bag, where the pencils were laid down stacked on each other. This is so much more easily accessible! Then the rest of the main compartment has other art materials, sketch books, and three types of juggling balls each stored in its own Cubelet. Before this, I was using a Packing Cube shoulder bag (which I also love) for carrying just art and purse stuff, but I had it crammed super full which was not then very convenient for accessing stuff. Plus, I wanted to add a few additional art supplies and carry some of my juggling balls as well, so I needed a bigger bag. However, I didn't want a bag that *looked* huge. I wanted something with…
