TLDR

Full Description

The Ghost Whale Organizer Pouch is made with scrap fabric. Though we utilize our Tetris skills to make the most out of every marker, some resulting scrap fabric is inevitable. All but the smallest of these scraps are rolled, secured with a rubber band, and stored until it's time for us to make new Organizer Pouches. The name? Tom thinks the shape of the pouch resembles that of a whale (Melville is on his Audible wishlist). Nik thinks the pattern for the pouch is shaped like a ghost. There you have it: Ghost Whale.

    Awesome Little Pouch

    The ghost whale pouches are great. I have two of the mini size that I use for a little med kit and one for glasses cleaning supplies. They both fit in a side pocket of my synik 22. Smooth zippers that open wide and fun colors. What more could you ask for!

    Useful, compact

    I had been wanting to try these out after hearing good things, I went with the super-mini because I wanted some organization for small things inside my bags and toiletry kit. It's good for things like chapstick, nail clippers, tweezers, or small dongles that tend to get lost in the bottom of the bag. I also recently made an international trip and it was really nice for holding foreign currency, bills and coins, so that it didn't get mixed up with money in my regular wallet. Because it clips, I knew I could keep cash in it and it would be secure. Overall, great!

    Cool little pouches, with a perhaps silly design oversight

    I like these pouches. But because they're normally clipped into an o-ring and the "leash" is very short, it can feel kinda frustrating to get them open (especially with larger hands) because the zip is close to the leash, and the bag feels very close to the bag. It just results in the operation being cramped. In my opinion, it would be better if the clip was on the other side, so that you could pull the pouch, away from the bag, and open it from the side without the clip.

    Slick pouch

    I used the key strap that came with my SYNIK 30 to attach my sunglass case to one of the side pockets. It works great. Decided it'd be nice to do something similar on the other side and picked the Ghost Whale pouch and another key strap. Works very well. I keep a mask, tissues, hand sanitizer, and a couple other little hygiene items in it. No complaints. It's a bit pricey for what it is but I like it.
