The bins work well for containing odds and ends, but I don’t feel that they pack well. I guess you can place them in your carryon for access to electronics or for toiletries, but for some reason I got the impression they were easily packable … they are not. Nothing is organized within the bin, so it’s quite bulky when filled (or even slightly filled). When you pull the drawstring, you have quite a package. Perhaps I’m taking the wrong approach. Again, handy for containment of things while in location, but I don’t find the packing benefit. I do have to add there were no small trays available, but I think you’re faced with the same dilemma of bulk.
