TLDR

Similar to the Original Small Shop Bag, the zip-top version is differentiated by a (you guessed it) zipper at the top. Other than that, the design is similar — super light, super durable, super comfortable while keeping your stuff securely zipped at the top. Perfect for storing bottles of drinks of your choice, cartons of milk, canned food, and other heavy stuff.

Full Description

Large Zip-Top Main Compartment

The main compartment of the Original Small Zip-Top Shop Bag can fit a lot! It's perfect for your farmer's market haul, to-go lunch, books, or folded up clothing.

The inside of the Original Small Zip-Top Shop Bag has two deep, open-top pockets you can use for items like wine or water bottles. There are also 2 O-rings in the interior of the bag. On one of the O-rings is a Key Strap and the other is unoccupied so that you can clip on a pouch, if you want.

Piping on the Seams

We've piped the seams with the same stiff plastic material used on hat brims. This piping gives the Zip-Top Shop Bag enough structure to stand up while you're filling it.

PORON® Foam-Padded Handles

In addition to its good looks and organization, you'll notice that the Original Small Zip-Top Shop Bag's PORON®-padded handles make it comfortable to carry, even when it's quite heavy. Designed to be an ideal length that will allow most people to carry the bag in their hand or wear it over their shoulder, these handles successfully prevent that awful hand-slicing or shoulder-tugging experience of lugging traditional non-padded fabric handles. The PORON® will never break down or wear thin, no matter how many trips you make to the store.

    Love the small zip top bag!

    This is the perfect size little tote. Handles are just long enough to carry on your shoulder. Only thing i would want is adding a little pocket on the outside. Can't wait to get the large one also!

    Bought to be my under seat carry-on

    After many different attempts at finding the perfect under seat bag, I think I may have found it. I needed something roomy with no exterior pockets plus it had to be lightweight. I don't need to carry a laptop so that wasn't an issue. It was perfect for an ipad, snacks, neck pillow, socks, bose headphones, and all of my EDC stuff (wallet, phone, etc.) I have the canary yellow version which was great for finding stuff in the dark and the big interior pockets were perfect for separating out my pouch full of cables and my snacks.

    Everyday Work Bag

    It’s just a versatile bag for any occasion. I like that it has one big open cavity you can just dump things into but also two additional side pockets designed to lay flat against its walls that can also be pulled out when additional organization is needed. I’ve been using it as my everyday work bag along my Synapse 19 to tote around lunch or random Target buys. When not in use I like to fold it up and store in my backpack so it goes everywhere with me.

    Versatile and attractive bag

    I use this as an everyday bag because it is so versatile and practical. I particularly like the length of the handles, which are long enough to allow me to carry it as a shoulder bag. The bag is nice and slouchy and the zipper keeps everything in. I love the two inside pockets, which are on the either end and are a good size for storing a hard-sided glasses case on one side and a water bottle on the other. It's roomy enough to throw in my small crossbody bag, some books, a hat, etc., or use as an emergency bag at the grocery store for a few items. The camo fabric is tough and looks good.

    Beautifully built, but a bit lacking for shoulder carry.

    As with all TB stuff, this is beautifully built. The inside pockets are great, and the zip top is the best design you'll find. I wish the straps were a touch longer (I live in the Northeast and it is uncomfortably snug over colder weather wear) and attached to the bag so that the ends were further from the center of the bagr, as the bag isn't very stable and twists too easily when being carried. (In contrast, the Pop-Up Tote is wonderfully stable to carry, but the external pockets are kind of useless.) One star off for the awkward carry, but if they'd offer these in ballistic I'd still buy a couple more.
