Every year, the TOM BIHN Ravelry group knits surprise wearable gifts for our crew. In years past, we've been gifted with shawls, scarves, or hats... this year, the gifts were slippers, cuffs, wrist/arm warmers, fingerless gloves, socks, mittens, and shawls. Choosing the gifts (each of our crew picks a number out of a hat) is the highlight of our annual holiday party.
Of course, we know what it takes to produce a quality item: the time, the labor, the materials, the thought and the care. That's why we're continually in awe of the knitted, crocheted, or woven gifts that we receive; these are high quality, beautiful items that people would surely love to purchase but aren't available in stores... they're made by hand, and made just for us.
From all of us here at TOM BIHN to the TB Ravelry Group: thank you! Extra special thanks goes to Annie, a knitter and Ravelry member local to Seattle who coordinates the whole effort and delivers the knitted items.
Below are a few photos from our 2019 holiday party, and below that, photos of each and every item made for us.
June retired as Production Manager here at TOM BIHN in 2013; thankfully, she still comes to our holiday party and we all love to see her!
