2019 Wearable Gifts to the TB Crew from Ravelry

A variety of knitted gloves sent to the TOM BIHN crew by the Ravelry knitting forum.

Every year, the TOM BIHN Ravelry group knits surprise wearable gifts for our crew. In years past, we've been gifted with shawls, scarves, or hats... this year, the gifts were slippers, cuffs, wrist/arm warmers, fingerless gloves, socks, mittens, and shawls. Choosing the gifts (each of our crew picks a number out of a hat) is the highlight of our annual holiday party.

Of course, we know what it takes to produce a quality item: the time, the labor, the materials, the thought and the care. That's why we're continually in awe of the knitted, crocheted, or woven gifts that we receive; these are high quality, beautiful items that people would surely love to purchase but aren't available in stores... they're made by hand, and made just for us.

From all of us here at TOM BIHN to the TB Ravelry Group: thank you! Extra special thanks goes to Annie, a knitter and Ravelry member local to Seattle who coordinates the whole effort and delivers the knitted items.

I’m a Raveler, but I wasn’t one of the knitters if your gifts, unfortunately. I was very touched though, that you guys took the time to photograph each and every handknit item, and show so many modeled with their recipients. You are all truly knitworthy! I hope you enjoy your woolens as much as I enjoy my Tom Bihn bags!
